Nutrition C fulfills two important functions at once:

• It reduces excessive nutrient levels (PO4, NO3) in a natural and biological way.

• It promotes the energy metabolism of corals and microorganisms through the nutrients and care substances it contains.

Nutrition C does not promote the build-up of unstable biomass (one-sided bacterial proliferation), but deliberately feeds the majority of organisms in your reef aquarium. This stimulates the growth of corals and improves the biological stability of the entire system.

Nutrition N provides your reef inhabitants with a variety of different, easily usable nitrogen sources.

These bioactive nitrogen complexes not only serve as a food source for many bacteria and microorganisms, but also for your corals for the synthesis of chromoproteins. These are crucial for the coloration of the corals, among other things.

We recommend dosing Nutrition N even when nitrate levels are above 5 mg/l, as the nitrate level is not a direct indicator of nitrogen availability in the aquarium.

Nutrition P contains biologically available phosphorus. Phosphorus plays a key role as a regulator of biomass in an ecosystem.

Under typical aquarium conditions (PO4 value less than 0.025 mg/l) phosphorus can already be limited. This can lead to the loss of corals and beneficial bacteria. As a result, competitors such as cyanobacteria can often spread.

We recommend not allowing the PO4 value to fall below 0.04-0.05 mg/l (ICP measurement).
