Phosphate Rx is an amazingly simple and effective product that has revolutionized the way phosphates are removed from marine and freshwater aquariums. When added, the formula quickly binds to phosphate molecules, rendering them inactive and easily filtered out.

How to use the product:

TEST THE PHOSPHATE LEVEL OF YOUR AQUARIUM BEFORE USE. It is recommended to keep the phosphate level below 0.03 ppm.

Six drops of Phosphate Control will lower your phosphate by 0.5 ppm per 10 gallons (37.9 L) of water. DO NOT LOWER YOUR PHOSPHATES MORE THAN 0.5 ppm IN A 24 HOUR PERIOD. For best results, add drops directly to your protein skimmer or add one drop at a time in high flow areas. Temporary cloudiness may occur when adding this product. The cloudiness will disappear within 24 hours. For accurate results, wait 24 hours before retesting your phosphate levels. Wait ten minutes before dosing other supplements. Test regularly and treat as needed.

Caution: Yellow Hawaii Doks may be sensitive to the recommended dosage of Phosphate Rx and may become irritated when using this product. In addition, some wrasse may also be sensitive to the use of this product and we recommend dividing the recommended dosage into 2 or more parts. It is recommended to use a 5 or 10 micron filter bag to collect the precipitate. Do not dose directly into the aquarium, into an overflow or into a skimmer chamber.
