Red Cyano Rx quickly and effectively treats disease-causing cyano bacteria from live rock, live coral and live sand in your saltwater aquarium without harming its inhabitants, including beneficial bacteria, when used as directed. How to use the product:

For best results, siphon as much cyanobacteria from your aquarium as possible. Remove one cup of water from your aquarium. Mix 1 level scoop of Red Cyano Rx in the cup for every 10 gallons (37.9 liters) of water in your aquarium. Dissolve thoroughly and pour solution into the aquarium.

After 24 hours of completing the treatment, perform a 25% water change and you can now turn the protein skimmer back on, resume using carbon and ozone, although you may notice your skimmer producing additional foam. If cyanobacteria are still viable, perform a 25% water change 48 hours after the treatment and repeat the dosing.

4g is enough for 1514 liters of water.
 
Note: It is recommended that the pH in your aquarium be above 8.0 before you start adding Red Cyano Rx. This product can lower the pH and affect the alkalinity in your aquarium, so it is recommended that you use a buffer when dosing Red Cyano Rx and monitor your pH and alkalinity. The best time to start treating with Red Cyano Rx is in the morning when the lights first come on. During the day, the pH tends to go up and at night it tends to go down. Algae growth in your aquarium will cause your pH to go down and using Red Cyano Rx, while having an overall positive effect, requires caution and monitoring of pH and alkalinity. It is very important to do a 25% water change after each treatment. You must stop using carbon, protein skimming and ozone during the treatment period. Do not dose in the evening when the lights are off.
