Natural Salt
H20cean is a Pro Formula Aquarium Salt - manufactured through a solar evaporative process that produces a completely natural salt with all major and trace elements perfectly balanced as nature intended. The pure natural salt is then specially optimized for aquarium use by increasing certain elements that have decreased over time, such as calcium and magnesium, which are used by corals and calcareous algae for growth. Its natural origin guarantees that the salt contains all 70 major and trace elements in the correct proportions, mixed by nature into a homogenous mass.

Balanced formula
In nature there is a natural balance between calcium, alkalinity and magnesium levels. Many salts either have unnaturally high calcium levels or have high alkalinity levels; and therefore these salts need to have either extra buffer or extra calcium added to them to get the natural balance back. With H2Ocean Pro+ the calcium and alkalinity are in the right
ratio by keeping the ion balance at natural levels.

Chemistry
The formula for H2Ocean was developed by DD over many months of testing and evaluation.
