This will be your base rock that you will use to build your custom reef.

An 18kg mixed box contains stones ranging in size from 10 to 30cm, however most pieces are 12 to 16cm. Due to the natural origin of the material, which was taken from the remains of an ancient reef on land, the shapes will be random and highly textured.

DD Marco Coralline Rock is a completely natural calcium carbonate rock , now supplied in a coloured form using a new, specially developed, varnish-free process that aims to simulate coral-covered live rock . The purple coral colour makes your new reef structure look natural and established immediately, while over time real coralline algae will colonise the surface.

The natural rock is sustainably sourced from the remains of ancient coral reefs on land that rose from the sea thousands of years ago and formed part of the structure of Florida, the Keys and the Caribbean. Because the rock does not come from a living marine environment, it has no negative impact on the world's delicate reef or marine ecosystems . Because it is a completely natural reef rock, it has the perfect porosity for the colonization of beneficial bacteria to create a thriving ecosystem in your aquarium.
