Reef Delete uses patented technology coupled with a custom-designed, hand-crafted, Class 3 ultra-focused UV-C light source to efficiently destroy the DNA in aquarium pests. This ultimately causes them to shut down and decay naturally without return. All that is needed is a single long or short daily exposure to cause devastating damage to the cells of the target organisms. And all without using chemicals or inadvertently harming other aquarium inhabitants. Unlike chemical treatments, you cannot overdose Reef Delete on a target sample. The more exposure given, the faster the organism is broken down - and you can do this with as many as you like without fear of damaging your water chemistry!

To ensure safe and effective use of Reef Delete, there are a variety of built-in safety features that protect against accidental activation outside of the aquarium and therefore protect the user from accidental UV-C exposure. Reef Delete must only be used underwater for its intended purpose. The device has several safety features that prevent accidental activation and safety deactivation in the event the device is removed from the water while the power button is still pressed.
