Multifunctional dosing unit with 2 channels for very precise dosing from 0.1 ml! The DOS combines excellent quality with the simplicity of an Apex Fusion Wizard to set up the following, for example:

• 2-part dosage (calcium and kH)
• Dosing of other additives
• Automatic water changes
• Dosing micro-quantities (from 0.1 ml!)
• Dosing of liquid food and other supplements/trace elements

Up to 64 DOS can be connected and controlled to an APEX controller.

Important!: To use the dosing pumps the APEX controller is required!

WHAT NEPTUNE SYSTEMS DŌS CAN DO:

The DŌS is a versatile dosing and fluid measurement system. The DŌS connects to any Apex controller via its AquaBus connection. The true versatility and functionality of the DŌS comes through the software wizard integrated into Apex Fusion. This takes dosing to a whole new level in terms of ease of use and functionality compared to standalone dosing systems because the DŌS is part of your Apex ecosystem. Not only can you integrate it with other operations and equipment you configure, but we at NeptuneSystems will continue to expand its capabilities over time through software updates to Apex Fusion.

2-PART DOSING MADE EASY

The main reason aquarists purchase a dosing system for their aquariums is to achieve consistent and easy dosing of two-part solutions (calcium and alkalinity) in their reef tanks. The most common method for this today is to use standalone dosing pumps that operate with seconds or minutes on a timer to determine how much to dose.

Not only is this confusing, but it is also prone to inaccuracies. Everyone knows that measuring a liquid is done by volume, not time. Every dosing calculator uses volume. With the DŌS (and the Apex Fusion interface), you simply enter the amount you want for each part of the additives (one for each pump) and the hours of the day you want to dispense. The DŌS then sets up all dosing intervals within that time period. Once that time interval has passed, the volume you set has been reached. It even automatically selects the slowest speed required for the pump to minimize noise.

WATER CHANGE - THE NEVER-ENDING TASK

Do water changes annoy you? - Every aquarist is annoyed by them - so they are never done as often as they should be. In addition, water changes affect the stability of your system because all of these changes are happening at the same time.

With the DŌS, all you do is place your empty jar and your fresh saltwater sample from your tank under your stand. Then, simply tell the Apex Fusion Assistant the amount of water you want to change, the amount of time and hours of the day you want it to happen, and it will analyze it all for you. It will perform an automatic, continuous water change for you and you will soon see significant improvements. Less time pumping, siphoning and sloshing water, and more time enjoying your great reef tank.
