PolypLab Medic 30ml

PolypLab Medic is a highly effective water conditioner that can be used to treat external fish parasites in both sea and fresh water.

Many external fish parasites have very similar life cycles. In particular, these parasites have an "attached stage" (trophonts), a "mature" stage (protomonts), a "reproductive" stage (tomonts), and a "free-swimming" stage (theronts/dinospores).

Many comparable products do not target the free swimming stage, which is one of the main difficulties in dealing with these parasites. Studies with expanded protozoa have shown that the "free swimming" stage of parasites results in remarkably consistent hatch times.

PolypLab Medic has been designed to be most effective during this crucial phase. It conditions the aquarium water and interrupts the life cycle during the "free swimming" period when the oxidative component in the product is particularly effective against theronts/dinospores.

PolypLab Medic is completely reef safe and buffered to maintain physiological pH.
