Coralline algae grow naturally, without any special additives, in all reef systems optimized for hard corals.

To promote the growth of coralline algae in aquariums with only fish stocks or in soft coral aquariums, the carbonate hardness must be kept constant at approx. 8.4°dKH (3meq/L), and special minor and trace elements must be directly available.

KH Coralline Gro is a complex of carbonate buffers, potassium and trace elements such as iron, mixed in the ratio that corresponds to the regular uptake by the coralline algae. Coralline Gro should be used instead of the buffer additive "Reef Foundation B" during the start-up phase of all new marine aquariums and continuously in all aquariums with only fish or soft coral aquariums. The dosage of Coralline Gro should be based on a drop in carbonate hardness measured with the "pH/Alkalinity" test kit.

Dosage:

Addition of 1 ml per 100 liters increases the alkalinity level by 0.1 dKH (0.03 meq / l).
