The MAX NANO G2 XXL is a professional-sized reef with all the NANO benefits including plug & play setup, REEF-SPEC lighting, superior circulation and filtration systems, ReefATO+ and NanoMat-ready rear filter tanks. Every device built into the MAX NANO G2 systems complies with REEF-SPEC, the criteria that represents the ideal conditions in an aquarium to maintain coral health and optimize its growth. It is based on Red Sea's 30 years of research into the needs of corals in artificial environments.

REEF-SPEC lighting

Our years of research into the photobiological needs of corals in artificial environments have resulted in the REEF-SPEC lighting criteria, which form the basis for the lighting configurations used in all Red Sea aquarium systems.

REEF-SPEC filtration

The heart of the MAX NANO G2 XXL filter system is the MSK900 protein skimmer, which removes most of the waste products produced by the aquarium inhabitants and thoroughly enriches the water with oxygen.

REEF-SPEC circulation

The MAX NANO G2 XXL's dual pumps provide REEF-SPEC water flow, which is crucial for supplying corals and other sedentary invertebrates with the nutrients and minerals they need for growth.

Fully equipped rear technical area

The equipment in the rear technical area is hidden behind a rotating panel for easy access.

The water flows through a removable surface skimmer into the rear technical area, is filtered through a custom 225 micron filter sock and a MAX protein skimmer and flows back into the aquarium through a media chamber, a bubble trap and multi-directional, adjustable nozzles.

The REEF-SPEC circulation system includes 2 Sicce 1550 LPH return pumps that circulate the entire water volume of the pool approximately 10 times per hour.

The rear technical area in the MAX NANO XXL system is ReefATO+ and NanoMat compatible.

The MAX NANO G2 XXL features 2 built-in power centers with conveniently located on/off switches for the skimmer and circulation pumps, allowing easy access for feeding and maintenance.

Rotatable rear technical compartment panel

The rotating panel allows easy access to the rear technical area where the filter and circulation systems are located, thus ensuring that the appearance of the aquarium is not compromised.

ReefLED lighting
