Calcium, magnesium, strontium and carbonate are the basic elements on which a coral skeleton is built.

All of these elements must be available to the corals in certain amounts and proportions in order for them to be healthy and grow.

Reef Foundation ABC+ is a mixture of all these building elements with the addition of potassium, bromine and iodine in the unique mixing ratio that corals require.

Red Sea's Reef Foundation ABC+ is a unique blended powder supplement that contains all the elements from the Reef Foundation A, B & C, plus the “Coral Colors” A & B additives (potassium, boron, iodine & bromine) in exactly the ratio that corals need.

Although there are small differences between different coral species, the ratio of these elements to each other is fairly constant on average. Adding all these elements in a fixed ratio according to the calcium consumption of the coral guarantees the correct replenishment amount according to the needs of the coralline metabolism.

Reef Foundation ABC+ should be dosed on a daily or weekly basis depending on the type of aquarium and measured calcium consumption. Over time, an imbalance between the building blocks can occur.

If dosing on a daily basis, test all building materials weekly and make adjustments with individual supplements A, B and C. If dosing on a weekly basis, test all building materials monthly and make adjustments with individual supplements A, B and C.
